The Global Business Solutions (advertising) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving effective ad campaigns, and more. The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements and works closely with internal stakeholders to design the company's advertising policies and implement content review processes.
This Commercial Product Risk Analyst role requires complex problem-solving skills and an excellent ability to measure and identify risk trends to inform policy and enforcement solutions. You'll work closely with data science, product, product operations, public policy, legal, and communications across the platform to drive major policy-led product solutions to enable safe advertising.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain programs including systems, policies, and resources to support cross-issue commercial priorities.
2. Identify, investigate, monitor, assess and clearly communicate emerging risks in commercial products.
3. Develop and identify opportunities to improve processes, protocols, and policies to mitigate risk, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Serve as primary point of contact for ad-hoc and regular risk investigations support on commercial products to different stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with the team to build a strong understanding of risks and policies of Commercial Products on the platform.
6. Maintain knowledge of global and regional industry trends in the advertising space and new risks to ensure organizational risks are mitigated.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. 1-3 years of risk investigations and operational experience, preferably in online operations, trust & safety, consulting, business analytics, or intelligence research environment.
2. Experience in and/or demonstrable knowledge of domains such as risk, payments, e-commerce, product risk, and/or online advertising.
3. Experience conducting complex analyses and translating the results into recommendations.
4. Excellent analytical reasoning, problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with SQL or Python.
2. Previous experience working with international partners across multiple markets and timezones.
3. Experience developing and executing risk governance strategy.
