About the Role:
The Procurement Assistant will be responsible for processing quotes, raising requisitions, and verifying order status. This individual will work collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery of requests.
The role requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with Senior Stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs or Google Suite is essential, along with good time management and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process quotes and raise requisitions in a timely manner
* Verify order status and communicate request updates to stakeholders
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive project success
* Support Research and Development teams on cross-functional projects
* Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance day-to-day operations
* Participate in a high-impact, multi-business/multi-region team responsible for executing strategic efforts
Requirements:
* College Certification level and 2 years' experience
* Strong communication skills with Senior Stakeholders
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs or Google Suite (Excel)
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Demonstrated attention to detail and basic mathematical knowledge
* Effective interpersonal skills to drive engagement and satisfaction
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP system an advantage
