Requirements Engineer
Job Description:
1. Perform requirements engineering activities for complete product development cycle in the area of CMOS image sensors.
2. Work with product management and engineering teams on requirements specifications.
3. Understand, clarify, and document functional and non-functional requirements of products in collaboration with the Product Manager/Marketing Manager, the customer (if needed), and the engineering team.
4. Trace requirements through design, verification, validation, and test activities.
5. Report on requirements that lack sufficient coverage in mentioned activities.
6. Identify collaterals needed to support product development, marketing, and sales such as tools, demonstrators, or similar. Define and document collateral specifications.
7. Administer and support engineering tools like requirements management tool (Codebeamer), repositories, trackers, and code review tools.
Educational Background:
1. Bachelor or Master in Engineering or similar with a minimum of 5 years experience in product development in the semiconductor industry.
2. Experience in project management (e.g. project manager, product owner, or SCRUM master) is a plus.
3. Practical experience and applied knowledge with respect to requirements engineering, preferably for automotive products.
4. Understanding of technical aspects in the semiconductor business across development disciplines such as analog design, digital design, packaging, software development, etc.
5. High curiosity to scrutinize use cases and applications with a good understanding to translate them into technical concepts and requirements.
6. Enthusiasm to write, review, and maintain documentation.
7. Excellent communication skills in English.
8. Good team player, able to work concurrently in multiple teams with different characteristics and needs.
9. Willingness to take initiative and be highly self-motivating.
