Job Title: Financial Support Specialist
Location: NORTH Dublin - Hybrid (after settling in period)
Reports to: Operations Director - Finance
Purpose of the Role/Role Overview: To provide support to the Operations Director, CFO and Accounts Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with all departments and senior management to disseminate financial information.
* Manage and maintain the integrity of accounting software and contribute to its future development.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and the compilation of monthly reports for senior management team.
* Contribute to the development and management of financial systems/policies.
* Analyse cost and revenues, ensuring the integrity of financial information.
* Ensure Revenue compliance across all aspects of the business including prem taxes, VAT, RCT.
* Contribute to the facilitation of the annual audit.
* To develop expertise and provide support relating to specific construction finance issues.
* Support the payroll function.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A minimum of 3-5 years of accountancy experience, preferably within the construction sector.
* Hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Be proficient in IT, particularly MS Excel and Accounting Software.
* Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.
* Show a team player mentality, able to take direction but also work independently when necessary.
* Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
