Job Description
We are partnering with a global leader in the finance industry to recruit data stewards for their markets team in Belfast.
Key Responsibilities:
* Consult with end users to support defining and integrating processes aligned with the enterprise Data Governance roadmap and/or Data Risk and Control framework and taxonomy.
* Execute data lineage, including collection of interface and database details, and upload and maintenance for reuse and visualization.
* Provide technical knowledge to ensure efficient design, development, and implementation of complex projects.
* Review and evaluate work of others.
* Contribute to producing recommendations for enterprise-wide guiding policies, standards, and procedures.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related area.
* Strong project management and business analysis skills.
* Experience with large-scale data lineage programs.
* Ability to anticipate and balance multiple stakeholder needs while monitoring tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes.
* Effective communication skills.
* Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Important Note:
This is a hybrid role requiring applicants to be in the client's Belfast office 3 days per week. This is an essential requirement for the role, and applicants who cannot fulfill this will not be considered.
