Your Role
In this role, you will perform calibration functions on manufacturing, testing, and measuring equipment. Your work will impact the accuracy of our measurement and process equipment and subsequent product quality. You will be responsible for meeting quality systems requirements and other compliance requirements.
* Calibration Services: Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on various measurement instruments used to measure pressure, temperature, humidity, flow, mass, and other devices.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of calibration activities, including calibration certificates, calibration procedures, test results, and equipment history. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with measurement equipment, both mechanical and electronic, and implement corrective actions to ensure proper functionality.
* Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that calibrated instruments meet established specifications and standards. Participate in audits to verify compliance with industry regulations.
* Testing and Validation: Perform testing and validation of new equipment and instruments to ensure they meet required standards before being put into service.
* Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including production, engineering, and quality control, to address calibration-related issues and provide technical support.
* Calibration Standards: Stay current with industry trends, calibration standards, and technological advancements. Recommend updates to calibration procedures and protocols to maintain compliance.
* Training: Provide training to users on proper handling and care of calibrated equipment. Educate staff on the importance of accurate measurements and the calibration process.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A relevant third-level qualification in Engineering/Science.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a calibration role in the medical/pharmaceutical industry.
