Role & Responsibilities
* Safety First: You will receive training to ensure safe and proper work practices, creating a secure workplace for everyone on-site.
* Teamwork: Your responsibilities will include treating waste through segregation, packing, bulking, and repackaging as needed. You will also manage contracts efficiently to maintain smooth operations on-site.
* Sustainability: As part of the team, you will coordinate the shipment of waste to various treatment centers in a safe, compliant, and sustainable manner.
* Independence: You will oversee all internal waste collections on-site, ensuring proper segregation within the waste compound while adhering to regulations. This includes planning and registering waste removals and processing them according to site requirements.
Experience Required
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* 1–2 years of experience in waste management or relevant fields such as pharmaceutical production, petro-chemical environments, or similar industries.
* Knowledge or experience in chemical handling.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office Suite).
* A team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
* A forklift license is an added advantage.
* Familiarity with areas such as DGSA, ADR/IMDG regulations, or bulk tanker filling and movements is a plus.
* Possession of a Safe Pass is desirable, but training will be provided if needed.
