Job Title: Transport Planner
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Planner to join our team at Woodside Motorfreight.

The Role
An opportunity has arisen to join the experienced Traffic team based at the Ballynure HQ, working in the leading vehicle transportation business in Northern Ireland operating in a very dynamic industry.
You will have the ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail with flexibility within the hours of 7am and 6pm, working staggered start and finish times on rotation.
Responsibilities
* Full involvement in the planning & co-ordination of a large fleet of car transporters and drivers, distributing cars, vans and HGV's throughout the UK and Ireland.
* Co-ordination and management of drivers while ensuring compliance with Road Traffic and Working Time laws.
* Booking shipping space utilising the most cost and time effective routes available on the Irish Sea.
* Ensuring fleet is available for planned servicing and maintenance.
* Ensuring strict customer KPI's are achieved.
* Keeping Customer Services staff updated on changes and delays.
* Communication with Directors on a daily basis.

* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced and dynamic office environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure seamless teamwork and coordination.
* Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Adaptability and resilience under pressure, with the ability to prioritize workload in response to changing demands.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and contributing to team success.
* Competent in the use of computers and standard office software, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
