Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our group finance function. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing the financial and administrative requirements of our growing portfolio, working across multiple legal entities.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated accounts for multiple legal entities, including property and construction companies.
* Administration: Oversee administration functions, accounts payable, payroll, and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with group policies and regulatory requirements.
* Cash Flow Management: Support cash flow and working capital management.
* Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and day-to-day commercial activities.
* Business Partnership: Act as a business partner to support operational and strategic goals.
* ERP System Implementation: Lead the procurement and implementation of an ERP system in collaboration with Group IT and finance teams.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
* Accounting Qualification: Qualified accountant with 3 years post-qualified experience, ideally working in industry.
* Technical Skills: Strong technical skills with experience in financial reporting and management.
* Cash Flow Experience: Experience managing cash flow and working capital, including work-in-progress, stock, and creditors/debtors' management.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and a track record of providing business partnership support.
* Problem-Solving: Problem-solving mindset with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
