We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Shannon, Co. Clare.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 07:00-15:30
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive maintenance strategy for equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to optimize asset reliability and performance.
* Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and relevant legislation.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment under our control as per the Plant CMMS / CAFM system.
* Manage, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to ensure high levels of technical performance.
* Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to source necessary parts and services.
* Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Lead the effort to identify opportunities for improvement in equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
* Utilise Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure analysis to address issues and improve equipment performance.
* Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for compliance audits.
Requirements:
* 5 years' experience working in a similar role.
* Certificate/Diploma or Senior Trades in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation.
* Proven experience leading a team of technicians and managing maintenance projects.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Flexibility required for on-call requests.
* High attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Experience with CMMS.
