Job Description:
Jones Engineering are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role based onsite at our headquarters in Pembroke Road, Dublin 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Accounts Payable process within a high-volume environment. They will join the finance team with responsibility for the accounts payable process across multiple entities.
Responsibilities:
1. Process invoices/credit notes and expenses using SAP.
2. Dealing with vendor queries in a timely manner.
3. Completion of vendor reconciliations.
4. Preparation of payment proposals for weekly payment run.
5. Process changes to vendor account set up.
6. Work with purchasing and commercial team to resolve invoice issues.
7. Ensure general ledger postings are coded correctly.
8. Ad-hoc projects as required.
9. Completion of process documentation.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
2. Third level qualification or equivalent.
3. Experience in an environment with high invoice volumes.
4. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
5. Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.
6. Strong Excel and overall computer skills.
7. Experience with construction company preferable.
