Role Overview:We are seeking highly skilled and certified professionals to work onsite in Dublin across various critical network infrastructures, including Telecommunications Networks, Cable Television Networks, Data Centers, and Enterprise Networks. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience, technical expertise, and the necessary equipment to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing tasks efficiently.Key Responsibilities:1. Telecommunications Networks:Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications systems, including fiber optic and copper-based systems.Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and troubleshoot connectivity issues.Perform splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optics and structured cabling.Ensure compliance with telecommunications industry standards and safety regulations.2. Cable Television Networks:Install and maintain headend equipment, RF distribution systems, and coaxial cable networks.Troubleshoot signal quality issues and perform RF signal level testing and adjustments.Set up amplifiers, nodes, and splitters to ensure optimal network performance.Collaborate with field engineers to diagnose and resolve network outages.3. Data Centers:Deploy, install, and test network cabling (fiber and copper) within data center environments.Perform rack and stack installation of servers, switches, and related hardware.Maintain organized cabling structures and ensure patch panels are labeled and updated.Conduct environmental monitoring and routine maintenance of infrastructure components.4. Enterprise Networks:Support structured cabling projects, including installation and troubleshooting of Cat5e/6/6A cabling.Deploy and configure wireless access points, routers, and switches in enterprise environments.Conduct site surveys to determine cabling and connectivity needs for new installations.Ensure optimal network performance by testing and certifying cabling systems.Requirements:Mandatory Qualifications:CommScope Certification in structured cabling, fiber optics, or relevant specialties.Proven experience working in one or more of the focus areas (Telecommunications, Cable TV, Data Centers, Enterprise Networks).Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring schematics.Technical Skills:Expertise in fiber optic splicing, OTDR testing, and certification of cabling.Hands-on experience with coaxial, twisted pair, and optical fiber cabling systems.Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools such as signal meters and diagnostic software.Familiarity with industry standards, including ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and local building codes.Additional Requirements:Full set of tools, including termination kits, splicing machines, and diagnostic equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills for collaborating with onsite teams and clients.Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings or weekends.
