DescriptionKey Operational contracts include the Cleaning and Waste contracts - these are two Tier 1 large operational contracts at Dublin airport and a key driver of customer experience. This role will be responsible for best-in-class contract management and driving contract performance to meet the SLA including delivering on CAR cleaning SQM targets. The annual cost of these contracts is circa €11m. This includes ensuring KPI’s are reached, standards and performance are tracked, and weekly and monthly reports on contracts performance are provided. This role will coordinate and develop relationships with all contractors and Ops teams and be a point of contact in ensuring consistent delivery in performance and standards.This role will manage and coordinate the operational performance assurance team (5) to ensure that operational standards are consistently measured, reported and managed at all times. This includes managing the audit schedule for the performance of Dublin Airport Operational teams and also key Operational contracts to ensure KPI’s are reached, standards and performance are tracked, and weekly and monthly reports on contracts performance are provided. This role will also coordinate and develop relationships with all contractors and Ops teams and be a point of contact in ensuring consistent delivery in performance and standards. Responsibilities
Assurance Lead
Manage and develop the performance assurance team to ensure that operational standards are consistently measured, monitored documented and reported.
Plan and manage audit team rosters to ensure appropriate audit cover in line with the operational requirements
Coordinate, plan, develop and schedule audits & customer feedback for the operations manager providing a view of standards and delivery in all op’s areas
Completion of monthly analysis, trends, risks and opportunity areas for improvement
Share insight and coordinate information with the Ops performance manager for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual contract review meetings
Ensure consistency in audit standards including training & development of the assurance team and other operational delivery teams that use the audit
Business owner of audit software tool (ECAT)- lead new audit development, development of live dashboard reporting, alerts and user roll-out / training in ECAT.
Contract Lead
Contract Lead for Dublin Airport Cleaning contract and Waste contract (total circa €11m)
Manage cleaning contract budget and costs by ensuring that all spend and changes to scope are negotiated to ensure best value and effective cost control
Roll out contract management framework / governance model for the management of best in class contract management including weekly performance meetings, standards walks, quality checks, monthly SLA reviews, stakeholder monthly meetings
Ensure SOPs and BCPs are in place for all services. Be the airport representative of contracted services where required in crisis event.
Completion of monthly analysis, trends, risks and opportunity areas for improvement industries to ensure best practice and best value solutions are implemented throughout the lifecycle of each contract.
Build strong relationships with service providers and stakeholders across the business - Act as day-to-day point of contact for contract issues
Assist cleaning contractor to understand the business by providing relevant forecasting data as well as driving overall contract performance
Lead monthly SLA’s & scorecards with cleaning contractor in advance of invoice approvals (coordinate account payments and approvals)
Lead in the tender process for new contracts in Cleaning and Waste within the expiry dates of the current operational contracts.
QualificationsExperience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an airport operations environment, understand the various airport departments & airport system multifunctional & results driven. An experience in KPI reports, excel, word & PowerPoint. Experience in audit development and contract coordination would be an advantage but not essential
Skills
Self-motivated, results driven, people person required to perform the job competently with high level relationship skills, be a planner and an organiser, interested in achieving high operational standards. Have an ability to develop and strengthen teams, be a good communicator, and be capable of developing relationships.
Education & Qualifications
Minimum of leaving certificate required, airport operations experience an advantage.
