Logistics Manager
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team.
The Role:
* Oversight of the Logistics function, ensuring alignment with Integrated Supply Chain and Commercial Business Unit objectives.
* Achievement of KPI targets linked to Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and People.
* On-Time In Full (OTIF) distribution of finished goods to customers.
* Partnership management with Logistics Service Providers to deliver core KPIs & cost benefit initiatives.
* Development of strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
* Promotion of an 'operational excellence' structured approach to warehouse operations.
* Identification and delivery of continuous improvement cost reduction projects.
* Participation in Cross Cluster and/or Cross UK Projects.
* Nurturing and support of direct and indirect reports' professional development.
The Candidate:
* Degree qualification in supply chain or logistics.
* Expertise in 'operational excellence' or lean methodology.
* Experience in inspiring and motivating teams in warehousing/logistics environments.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, including effective communication at senior leadership levels.
* Effective nurturing of supplier partner relationships.
* In-depth knowledge of managing complex logistics operations that are compliant and safe.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for improvement and structured operations.
* Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Six sigma green belt or similar certification.
