Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our Management team for Food & Beverage Operations - outlets & Events in Cork City.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the department, ensuring ongoing training and development of all team members, and maintaining excellent communication within the department and with other departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Maximize revenue through effective management of hotel operations across food and beverage outlets
* Manage payroll costs of the department
* Organize the efficient operation of all events and food & beverage outlets
* Develop and implement effective training programs for employees
* Drive business development of the department
* Maintain a visible presence across food and beverage outlets, providing direction to departmental managers
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years managerial experience in banqueting, bar, and restaurants
* Previous experience in delivering 4-star food and beverage service
* Ability to introduce new food and beverage concepts
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Excel
* Personal qualities: positive attitude, self-motivation, good personal organization, attention to detail, negotiation, and communication skills
* Fluent spoken and written English
