We are presently looking for an Assistant Store Manager for our clients based in County Cork. You will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, ensuring the highest levels of customer service, staff management, and operational efficiency. The role involves overseeing daily activities, managing staff, handling financial transactions, and maintaining store standards.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure excellent customer service by providing a friendly and efficient shopping experience.Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.Oversee the handling of customer inquiries and ensure staff are trained in customer service protocols.Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising store staff.Schedule and manage shifts to ensure adequate staffing levels.Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Foster a positive work environment and motivate staff to achieve performance goals.Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to avoid overstock situations.Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.Experience & SkillsPrevious experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.Proven track record of managing staff and operations in a retail environment.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Proficient in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.This is a full time, permanent position. Salary is based on experiences and open to negotiation.
