About the Financial Planning Manager role (Permanent) The Financial Planning Team provide a high level of expert advice and guidance to Wealth Management clients in Goodbody.
We are seeking an energetic individual with a high level of technical ability in advising wealth clients.
The successful person will join a highly collaborative team of leading names in the retirement, taxation and financial planning industry and will support these Wealth Management advisors and their clients by designing & presenting cohesive financial plans and executing the agreed planning outcomes.
Business Accountabilities include: Work with and support the Head of Financial Planning to deliver market leading Financial Planning advice to clients of Wealth Management Display the ability to comfortably advise high net-worth individuals and their families Partner with an experienced team of product specialists and advisors to offer expert guidance on customised solutions to clients and provide them with a professional service Identifying current and potential clients and businesses who may benefit from professional needs analysis.
Advising on a broad range of wealth, retirement and protection planning strategies Implementation of agreed client actions and assist with executing CPC related business with our preferred providers Keep up to date with market developments and ensure Goodbody is at the forefront of best advice.
Be involved in shaping the evolution of a core element of the business Ongoing client support and relationship management Qualifications and Experience A third level business, financial or investment qualification.
Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) & Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Society of Trust & Estate Practitioner / AITI Chartered Tax Advisor Minimum five years Financial Planning experience required Experience of advising clients in the areas of retirement planning, estate planning and protection Ideal Characteristics The ability to deliver tangible results through personal application A team player with an ability to work in and adapt to a quickly changing environment The ability to form good working relationships with clients and across multi-disciplinary teams The ability to network, generate own pipeline and use own contacts Demonstrate high levels of personal initiative and client service Financial and digital literacy (MS Office), strong technical skills and attention to detail.
