The Role of an Internal Sales Representative in the Environmental Industry
Key Responsibilities:
Our client, a well-established environmental company based in Kildare/Wicklow, is seeking an Internal Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of internal sales experience and a background in agriculture or environmental science.
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships through regular contact, addressing client needs and concerns, and ensuring continued business relationships. You will also be responsible for maintaining the CRM database and tracking follow-up activities after service delivery.
In addition to customer relationship management, you will review social media platforms, website traffic, and presence, advising on areas for improvement to attract more customers. You will proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching prospective clients, identifying their needs, and offering solutions.
Your responsibilities will also include assisting with inbound and outbound sales calls, providing product/service information to potential clients, and supporting the sales team in generating quotes and proposals. You will coordinate with internal teams to process customer orders, track deliveries, and follow up, as well as prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive quotations for clients.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential, as you will be handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) for managing leads and customer data, as well as social media experience, are highly desirable.
