My clients are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join their team, working with a Tier One Contractor based in West Dublin.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing safety standards across high-profile construction projects.
Key Responsibilities Safety Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety management systems across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with Irish Health and Safety legislation.
Site Inspections:
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards, recommend solutions, and ensure adherence to company policies.
Training & Induction:
Deliver effective Health and Safety training programs and site inductions to employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Incident Reporting:
Manage and report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses, ensuring proper investigation and follow-up actions are taken.
Compliance:
Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure projects meet statutory Health and Safety requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with site managers, engineers, and project teams to foster a culture of safety excellence.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, audits, and incident reports for internal and external review.
Qualifications & Experience A recognized qualification in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of Irish Health and Safety regulations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits Competitive salary:
€60,000 - €70,000.
