The Stores Tech Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Sourcing Recruiter to play a critical role in our hiring ecosystem.
The primary focus of this role will be recruiting for high-volume tech job families, including Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Software Development Manager, and Technical Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruit passive candidates through proactive market research, assess them against top talent, and Amazon's culture described in our leadership principles.
2. Manage and prioritize searches to ensure well-qualified and diverse talent pipelines are provided on-time, leveraging a range of metrics and key performance indicators to deliver results.
3. Leverage industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide insights that develop innovative sourcing methods, scalable candidate pipelines, complemented by proven strategies to consistently identify and attract top-tier candidates.
4. Screen and attract top talent by assessing candidate skills, qualifications, and guiding them throughout our hiring process, setting them up for success.
5. Utilize best-in-class candidate engagement techniques and pre-closing strategies with candidates to build rapport and impact.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally and partner with fellow Recruiters, Recruiting Coordinators, and Strategic Demand Advisors (SDA) to ensure that talent needs of customers are met.
7. Create an exceptional candidate experience, efficiently organize, effectively communicate, prioritize, push back when necessary, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, all while being customer-focused and collaborative.
8. Meet/exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), such as pipeline activity, conversion ratios, candidate experience, and cycle times.
9. Continuously invest time in expanding your knowledge base as industry standards and trends change and shift.
10. Participate in project work focused on building operational efficiencies, continuous process improvement, improving recruiter productivity, etc.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
- Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring
- Experience leading or participating in technology hiring events, technology mixers, and regular attendance and participation at technology meetups and technology user groups
