Dublin Aerospace is a Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO) based in Dublin, Ireland, specialising in Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 series aircraft, Landing Gear and APU overhaul. We are a leading player in the MRO market in Europe and have established ourselves as a high quality, reliable service provider.
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, focused and dynamic Sales Executive seeking a role in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Head of Base Maintenance and APU, the Sales Executive will be responsible for lead generation, conversion and revenue growth, whilst supporting the execution of the overall APU sales strategy and targets. The successful candidate will develop long-term, sustainable customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and drive new business opportunities for the APU division worldwide, build a pipeline of customers, convert leads into sales to support the delivery of DAL revenue targets.
2. Develop and maintain customer relationships with the target customer base (airlines, cargo operators, leasing companies).
3. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends to build a strong company value proposition.
4. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers.
5. Create demand for the company’s services by raising DAL’s profile and brand with the target customer base.
6. In conjunction with the marketing team, support the development of an annual calendar of industry trade events, attend those events, and represent the company.
7. Manage the company’s CRM and ensure all relevant data is entered with all sales leads and RFPs recorded with relevant customer information.
8. Undertake other duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Company from time to time.
9. Frequent international travel will be a requirement for this position.
Skills and Experience:
1. Degree or equivalent aircraft maintenance qualification with a minimum 3 year’s aviation sector experience.
2. Proven track record in sales and sales processes within the aviation sector.
3. People-focused approach, team player with a solid commitment to customer service delivery.
4. Fluent English essential. The ability to speak additional languages is beneficial.
5. An energetic, dedicated approach combined with excellent organisation skills and a commitment to deadlines, targets and high work standards.
6. Strong business and financial acumen.
7. Strong interpersonal, collaboration and influencing skills.
