Morgan McKinley are currently recruiting a Supply Planner to join a growing pharmaceutical company in Dublin. This is initially a contact role with a hybrid working model.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious supply chain professional to make a step into the pharmaceutical sector. Joining a well-established team, this Supply Planner will assist with planning, inventory management and build key relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers toward the achievement of strategies and goals
2. Develop and actively manage supply plans (inventory, distribution, manufacturing & packaging) through the end to end supply chain
3. Create and drive allocation plans per the allocation process.
4. Refresh and communicate allocation plans monthly.
5. Maintain order books accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Provide high level summary of major inventory changes, potential supply risks, significant excess stock and inventory write off against annual targets
7. Engage with suppliers on meeting deadlines, provide updates on orders and escalate supply issues/delays
8. Create, issue, and maintain all purchase orders to maintain correct data (delivery date, quantity, cost, etc) and status.
9. Ensure that Global Supply Planning Key Performance Indicators are managed.
Key requirements:
10. 3+ years supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated experience in production planning, operations, logistics and information technology.
11. Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office essential
