Aviva General Insurance Ireland is looking for an ambitious and talented individual to join the Project Management Office (PMO) based in Dublin as a PMO Lead for a 12/24 Month FTC. You will lead the delivery of a portfolio of change programmes within our GI business. The successful candidate will lead and support sponsors with the planning, resourcing and management of the individual programmes, ensuring they are set up for successful delivery within defined cost, budget, quality and timescales. This will involve collating a portfolio level view of benefits, costs, resourcing, risks, issues, actions and dependencies to support reporting to the Transformation Committee, Executive Committees, and Group Transformation Office.This role is based in our Dublin office and adheres to Aviva's hybrid working policy. Duties & Responsibilities:Costs: Managing and taking action to ensure agreed investment is spent appropriately.Resources: Managing resourcing leads, ensuring a clear view of resource needs for the portfolio is in place from the outset and monitored throughout the portfolio lifecycle, proactively highlighting deviations, trends, dependencies and issues.Risks: Ensuring a good understanding of risks, at the individual programme and portfolio level, is maintained and effectively monitored.Committee Reporting: Producing consistent and coherent reporting whilst calling out issues/trends/impacts, identifying themes and areas for further investigation to support predictable delivery.Programme Support: Leading the change programme and acting as consultant providing training, specialist advice and programme management as necessary across the portfolio.Oversight: Using facts and data to challenge progress to plan, level of risk and value of investment at all levels to ensure successful outcome of Change.Skills & Experience:Experience working in a project management office overseeing large, complex portfolio of change within Insurance or Financial Services Industry.Experience of project, programme, and portfolio reporting.Ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and creation of senior management reports, through PowerPoint, where attention to detail is key.Proven ability to track benefits and costs and experience in dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning.Understanding and experience in finance issues, budgeting and cost benefit analysis.What will you get for this role?
