Role Description: Human Resources Manager
Location: On-site in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of our HR function. This is a standalone, hands-on role where you’ll manage daily HR operations including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. You will also develop and implement HR policies, manage payroll coordination, employee benefits, training initiatives, and foster a positive, engaged work environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
2. Support managers with performance management and workforce planning
3. Handle employee relations and conflict resolution
4. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
5. Ensure legal compliance with Irish labour laws and HR best practices
6. Coordinate weekly payroll with accountants/payroll providers
7. Manage employee benefits and records
8. Drive employee engagement and development initiatives
9. Maintain an inclusive, high-performance workplace culture
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition
2. Strong background in employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR compliance
3. Knowledge of Irish employment law and HR policy development
4. Experience in training, employee development, and benefits administration
5. Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work on-site in Dungarvan
7. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
8. Equivalent work experience in a HR management role may be considered in place of a formal degree or qualifications
9. Experience in the manufacturing or healthcare sector is a strong advantage but not required
10. Proficiency in coordinating with payroll systems and accountants
11. Must be legally authorised to work in Ireland
