Job Description
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in shaping our marketing, sales, and overall business strategy. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with our co-founders, influence high-level decisions, and take ownership of how we scale.
You will be responsible for attending meetings, networking events, etc., to connect with C-level individuals, collaborating with management to define company growth goals and strategies, proposing innovative ideas to enhance Swappsi's market positioning, and coordinating the marketing strategy and putting a sales strategy in place.
You will also monitor industry trends and competitor activities for strategic insights, design and implement A/B testing strategies for outreach campaigns, conduct lead generation and scraping, compiling targeted outreach lists, find and review relevant tenders and draft high-quality proposals, execute outreach strategies via email, LinkedIn, live events, and other platforms, coordinate technical discovery meetings for management with prospective clients, and close deals.
Requirements
* A charismatic and outgoing communicator, fluent in English, with good writing, interpersonal, and networking skills.
* 3+ years of proven experience in business development and sales.
* Someone based in Ireland, preferably in Dublin.
* Ability to attend events and in-person meetings as required.
* Experience coordinating and/or designing marketing strategies.
* Commercial experience selling software and/or IT services.
* Experience in the full sales cycle.
* Self-motivated and driven individual with a proactive strategic mindset and the ability to work independently.
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with Google Analytics, LinkedIn marketing, and CRM tools.
* Experience in Digital Marketing and with content creation.
* Team lead experience.
* Project management skills.
Work Environment
* Flexible 7.5-hour workday between 8 am and 6 pm Irish time.
* Fully remote work within Ireland.
