Purpose:
The Manufacturing Engineering team seeks a skilled professional to support efficient operations within a production area, optimize existing processes, and ensure production goals are met with an emphasis on equipment and process requirements.
This role will be responsible for process ownership, driving improvements, and collaborating with Quality and Research and Development organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement new or improved products or processes to meet strategic goals and objectives.
* Prepare reports, publish, present, and communicate recommendations and findings.
* Drive ownership of engineering activities and methodologies, emphasizing equipment and systems validation lifecycle.
* Evaluate and lead the implementation of new equipment and processes through research, analysis, and evaluation.
* Provide input on equipment and system problems by analyzing situations and recommending corrective actions.
* Solve complex problems using engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices, and techniques.
* Continuously improve processes and work methodologies by collaborating with peers and cross-functional groups.
* Incorporate business policies and procedures into task completion, understanding business needs and customer requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Hons Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science is essential.
* At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
* FDA experience is highly desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge of Six Sigma and problem-solving methodologies.
* Experience in validation lifecycle.
* A self-starter with strong team player characteristics and ability to work independently.
