Security Team Lead
Purpose of the Job:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and efficient Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operation of security services across the contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high quality of service at all times, while also developing and leading the security team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead the security team on a day-to-day basis, including the development of the team.
* Establish and maintain effective communication links with other colleagues within the organization and across other client sites.
* Ensure the smooth running of the site(s) adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification.
* Organize relief/holiday cover for security staff as required.
* Monitor activities, visitors to the site, CCTV, and deal with alarm activations in line with procedures.
* Answer telephone calls, screen/direct calls, manage messages, and meet & greet persons entering the organization.
* Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization.
* Perform access control duties, including logging vehicle registration numbers, scanning/conducting searches, reviewing documentation presented by 3rd parties on site, checking tagging systems, and issuing/retrieving temporary ID cards.
* Daily and other reporting in line with procedure and any additional duties as requested by the Contract Manager.
Requirements:
* Hold a valid PSA Licence.
* Have at least five years relevant experience.
* possess strong knowledge and skill of administrative and clerical procedures.
* Have strong knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
* Hold a full clean driving licence.
