Job Title: Social Care Worker - Children's Residential Services
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join our team in a full-time permanent position. The role involves working 39 hours per week.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 11-17 in a residential setting. The team is committed to putting the child at the heart of everything they do, acknowledging that every individual is unique and requires tailored support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
* Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
* Engage with residents in activities and programmes designed to promote their emotional, social, and educational development.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to the evaluation of services.
Requirements:
* Degree in Applied Social Care (Level 7/8).
* Flexible approach to work, including participation in a rotational roster.
* Experience in mainstream social care settings is desirable.
* Full driving licence and access to a car.
