Quality Inspector – Documentation Control: County Sligo.
This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Inspector:
o Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
o Routine Final QA Product Inspections of finished parts in production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating any non-conformances to Production Manager & Quality Dept.
o Routine Environmental Monitoring, pressure differential readings, Particulate Monitoring, Microbial Monitoring.
o Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database.
o Problem solving and continuous improvement investigations.
o Perform internal audits as required.
o Review and update QA Documentation.
o Provide assistance and support to the Quality Engineering and Operations function.
o Drive continuous improvement and best practices in QMS “Right First Time”.
o Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
o Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and cGMP procedures and practices.
2. Documentation Control:
o Review documentation for completeness.
o Responsible for scanning, filing, backing up, and archiving quality documentation to maintain quality management system.
o Maintain and control all external supplied documentation which may affect product realization.
Minimum Requirements:
Interested applicants should have at least 1 year's experience as a Quality Inspector in Medical Devices.
