Field Area Sales Manager - Galway - Permanent
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as leading and motivating a team of experienced professional drivers who deliver our products and services in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
* Promote and sell our products and services across your designated territory.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Provide exceptional after-sales service and support to ensure customer loyalty.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize sales revenue.
* Report on sales activities and market trends to inform business decisions.
* Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
* Lead and motivate a high-performing team of drivers to deliver outstanding customer service and support the company's sales strategy.
* Grow sales through acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones.
* Review aged debts reports with the Credit Control Manager to optimize cash flow and reduce financial risks.
* Maintain Group credit policies within the business to ensure compliance and minimize financial exposure.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the oil distribution industry or a related field.
* A proven track record of achieving sales results and meeting customer expectations.
* Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team effectively.
* A full driving license and willingness to travel within your territory.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* A self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude.
* A strong team player with a customer-focused approach.
