About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a real impact in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, ASD, acquired brain injuries, and neurological conditions in a residential care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist assessment and intervention for feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing disorders.
* Enhance communication environments in line with the Total Communication Initiative.
* Work collaboratively with clients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
* Deliver staff training and contribute to service development.
* Supervise junior SLTs as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in adult Speech & Language Therapy.
* Expertise in FEDS (Feeding, Eating, Drinking, and Swallowing) management.
* Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
* Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development.
