Job Purpose:
* Deputise and support the Service Manager as needed
* Act as a positive role model and deliver high-quality play-based education under the guidance of national quality frameworks Aistear and Síolta
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
* Work within the ethos, aims, and objectives of Respond
* Assist the manager in ensuring the service complies with governing regulations and standards
* Promote and adhere to the services ethos and mission of Respond
* Conduct observations and learning stories for all children
* Organise materials and resources to reflect children's emerging interests and abilities
* Implement a play-based curriculum that encourages independence and fosters self-esteem
* Support children's emotional, social, and cognitive development
* Assist in providing healthy snacks that meet children's needs
* Develop and support parental involvement strategies
* Participate in reviews and evaluations of the service
* Provide ongoing support to staff members
* Attend team meetings and liaise with management

Qualification & Experience:
* Fetac Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education is essential
* Number of years of experience working in an Early Years setting is essential
* Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role is essential
