Traditional Marketing Manager - Retail
My client, a well-established Irish retailer, is seeking a sales-focused Retail Marketing Manager to drive foot traffic and sales growth for our stores. This role will concentrate on developing and executing local marketing strategies, including in-store displays, signage, community engagement, partnerships, and traditional media outreach.
This is not a digital marketing position; it is a traditional marketing position with a focus on increasing store performance and managing a team.
Responsibilities:
* Drive sales through marketing initiatives.
* Experience of driving Footfall through marketing initiatives.
* Proven experience of how marketing support enables sales advisors to increase sales and earn excellent commission in a target-driven sales environment.
* Measure marketing initiatives using KPIs such as increased sales.
* Develop and implement local marketing plans tailored to individual store locations.
* Manage in-store marketing materials, including point-of-sale displays and signage.
* Build local partnerships and collaborate with complementary businesses and community organizations.
* Oversee traditional marketing initiatives, such as print advertising and direct mail.
* Analyse and report on marketing performance using key metrics like foot traffic and ROI.
* Conduct competitor analysis and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Requirements:
* A track record of increasing sales through marketing initiatives in a multi-store retail environment.
* Proven experience in retail marketing, with a focus on driving foot traffic and sales.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant marketing software.
Estimated Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
