This role as an EHS Engineer is key to driving the success of our New Health Care Company. You will have the opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a career at Solventum.
As an EHS Engineer, you will make an impact by:
* Project Management: Initiating and completing activities leading to new/improved safety methods which have significant impact potential at project level within the assigned area of responsibility.
* Communication: Developing a network of support (within facilities, manufacturing, engineering, warehousing teams) to facilitate completion of assignments.
* Analysis and reporting of key health & safety data to senior level co-workers.
* Collaborating with management to define project parameters and develop correction plans.
* Leadership: Leading all activities relating to Risk Management by managing the site risk assessment schedule and driving continuous improvement to reduce risks on site.
We are looking for candidates who must have a strong background experience and/or the following qualifications:
* EHS Degree / NEBOSH General Certificate preferred or similar Safety qualification.
* Strong understanding and implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements is essential.
* Engineering skills / qualifications is an advantage.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
* Experience with innovative occupational health, wellbeing and behavioural programme's such as Mental Health First Aid is an advantage.
* At least 2 - 3 years' experience, ideally working within a busy manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical environment.
* High level of interpersonal skills.
