Your Role:
As a Counterparty Management Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients with their counterparty management functions. Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing requests relating to new account initiation, ensuring timely and efficient processing in accordance with prioritization guidelines.
* Requesting, collecting, and reviewing necessary client documentation from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
* Accurately uploading and maintaining documentation in the appropriate management systems, utilizing checklists to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
* Collaborating with legal and compliance departments to review contractual documents, identify non-standard provisions, and facilitate the amendment process as needed.
* Coordinating with internal teams to ensure that accounts are set up correctly and are ready for trading, including verification of credit limits and collateral arrangements.
* Managing communication channels dedicated to documentation and onboarding inquiries, providing prompt responses and directing queries to the relevant departments.
* Participating in the continuous improvement of onboarding processes, including the adoption of new procedures to meet regulatory changes and enhance operational efficiency.
* Conducting regular reviews and updates of client information to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance with legal and company requirements.
* Supporting cross-functional teams with documentation-related tasks and contributing to projects that enhance client service and operational effectiveness.
* Responsibilities may extend beyond those listed, as the position is designed to evolve with the company's needs and the regulatory landscape.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Possesses a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
* Holds a Professional Qualification or is actively pursuing one.
* Brings 2–3 years of experience in performing the aforementioned functions or has previously performed similar roles.
* Exhibits a proactive problem-solving mindset and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
* Demonstrates a deep understanding of the buy-side landscape.
* Is well-versed in counterparty onboarding and lifecycle management.
* Has a keen familiarity with a variety of trading instruments.
