Device Technician - Dublin, Ireland - 12-Month Contract
Located on the picturesque west coast of Ireland, our Global pharmaceutical client is looking for Device Technician to join their state of the art pharmaceutical facility.
Located in the historic province of Connacht neighbouring the pond that is the Atlantic Ocean, breeds a mix of Irish culture and modernisation in the popular seaside town rife with bars, restaurants and water sports.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and operation of moulding and ancillary equipment.
2. Preparation and operation of automated assembly and ancillary equipment.
3. Preparation and operation of Pad Printing and ancillary equipment.
4. Preparation and operation of manual assembly and ancillary equipment.
5. Troubleshooting day to day manufacturing issues which may impact on efficiencies, safety or quality.
6. Completion of quality checks and achieving production quality targets.
7. Supplying materials to the operations and equipment in a timely and safe manner.
8. Responsible for labeling and packing of components and finished products.
9. Operating of Coordinate measuring equipment, and other advanced metrology equipment.
10. Operate fully automated and complex computer-controlled systems, including robotic and vision system technology.
11. Participate in divisional project team for New Product Introduction and Improvement Projects.
12. Resetting equipment as necessary to ensure the manufacture of quality components.
13. Team coordination to maximize the effectiveness of all of the team members.
14. Documentation of all activities in line with GMP requirements.
15. Cross training within the team and training of new members.
16. Participation in continuous improvement programs to implement improvements in the quality, safety, environmental and production systems.
Qualifications:
17. Leaving Certificate or equivalent, desirable · or relevant work experience
18. Working knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite beneficial.
19. 3rd level education.
20. Minimum 1 year of experience in regulated manufacturing environment required.
