Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team at our Castleblayney site on a fixed-term basis for up to ten months. This role will provide maternity cover and is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact.
Main Responsibilities
* Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments and maximizing discounts.
* Register invoices on the system using Softco software or workflow delegation, and match them against SAPI.
* Issue workflow emails regarding outstanding invoices and ensure that all purchase ledger documentation is scanned and filed correctly.
* Reconcile supplier statements, perform weekly bank reconciliations, and reconcile intercompany recharges and ledger accounts.
* Assist with month-end AP close process, produce month-end reports, and complete Revenue RCT returns.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate data.
* Ability to challenge current processes and implement improvements.
* Accounting qualification (e.g. ATI, AAT, CIMA) and/or audit qualification desirable.
* Ongoing professional development and experience working within Finance or Audit departments.
* Proficiency in SAP and previous experience in manufacturing industry beneficial.
