Senior Finance Manager (ESG Reporting and Compliance) – Large Tech PLC – DublinBarden have been asked to act on behalf of a global technology company to lead the appointment of an ESG Senior Finance Manager.
This role will be responsible for leading the Group's ESG Reporting workstream, including the design and implementation of effective and sustainable processes in order to collect and report on ESG related KPIs.
The role will interact closely with the Sustainability team, along with the broader Finance and Financial Systems teams.
Ideally, this role will suit a qualified accountant, with at least 10 years PQE having worked in a Big 4 or large public company environment.
Prior ESG reporting experience is required.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Lead the ESG Reporting team and oversee all ESG reporting activities across the Group.Develop and implement standardised ESG policies, processes, and SOX-level controls, ensuring scalability for future M&A integration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data collection and reporting workflows, leveraging technology solutions.Manage external audits of ESG disclosures.Monitor and adapt to evolving global ESG regulatory requirements (Irish, EU, SEC) to ensure compliance.Provide training and guidance on ESG reporting governance, addressing both Group and local subsidiary needs.ABOUT YOU: Qualified accountant with 10+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally in a Big 4 or large public company.Expertise in consolidations, accounting, financial reporting, and SOX internal controls; ESG reporting experience is essential.Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills; excels in managing multiple priorities and collaborating with stakeholders.Driven, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with critical thinking skills and relevant ESG certifications as a bonus.Apply with your CV.
