About the Role
We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to partner with our logistics firm in delivering QHSE standards across the organisation.
Your Responsibilities
* Conduct internal audits and site inspections for Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards
* Perform regular compliance checks and update records accordingly
* Collect, review, and assess documentation from sub-contractors
* Coordinate and deliver employee QHSE induction programs
* Gather and evaluate necessary documentation from contractors, conduct inductions, and maintain precise records
* Support QHSE and Product Safety awareness initiatives for staff
* Participate in accident investigations and reporting, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
* Compile data and complete QHSE administrative tasks, ensuring records are up-to-date
* Assist in reviewing and updating current QHSE policies, procedures, regulations, and legislation
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
* NEBOSH Certification or equivalent experience
* Experience working with ISO standards
* Knowledge of relevant QHSE regulations and standards
* Attention to detail and effective communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
* Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health)
* Understanding of BRC Global Standards
* Experience in QHSE management systems and procedures
