Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
The Senior Psychologist will contribute to the delivery and future development of an effective psychology service in line with organisational priorities and department objectives, and always acting within the professional standards, guidelines and policy relevant to this role.
Duties:
* Provide a range of psychological services to adults with intellectual disabilities
* Hold and effectively manage the psychology department caseload
* Manage and support the development of the Psychology department
* Take a lead in implementing Kares Mental Health Pathway
* Work intensively with individuals, families and staff teams in driving changes that lead to enhanced positive life outcomes
* Promote models of positive wellbeing and models of person-centred support and engagement
Requirements:
* University degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject
* Irish post-graduate professional doctorate psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology
* At least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology
* Eligibility to work in Ireland
* Full Clean Irish Licence and access to own vehicle
