The eCommerce Technology Specialist is responsible for coordinating the development of new eCommerce platforms. This role involves managing existing eCommerce platforms, along with owning new MarTech technology that will be implemented.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of eCommerce trends, digital marketing strategies, and technical expertise in web development and SEO.
Let's talk about Responsibilities Conduct market research to identify new feature enhancements that can be implemented within Shopify and other eCommerce platforms.
Manage eCommerce platforms and review for effectiveness or issues.
Customize and optimize Shopify themes and templates to enhance user experience and drive sales.
Manage and implement Shopify plugins and integrations to extend platform functionality.
Ensure website performance, security, and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform.
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to optimize user experience and conversions.
Perform regular website audits and maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with internal teams (GTS, eCommerce, Marketing, Legal, vendors) for technical implementation.
Advocate for enhancements to the user experience based on feedback and testing.
Work closely with developers, designers, and marketing teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience Required:
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in analytics and eCommerce management systems.
Minimum 2+ years with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, SAP Hybris).Exceptional analytical skills with experience leveraging digital marketing tools and performance metrics to find data trends, drive business decisions and increase sales.
Proficiency in project tracking, documentation, trending, and reporting.
A self-starter and quick learner. This role will require the ability to craft opinions, seek initiative, and advocate ideas with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience with business systems and analytics (with Google Analytics/ Tableau is a plus).Working knowledge of agile methodology and creating user stories to collaborate across our technical teams.
