Job Title: Learning & Development Co-ordinator
The Learning & Development Co-ordinator plays a crucial role in the organization by coordinating training for employees on various systems and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Conduct all duties in line with training and applicable procedures, promoting company values and best practice standards related to health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.
2. Assist Department Managers, Heads of Section, and Supervisors in identifying training needs.
3. Coordinate external training such as OEM training for equipment and machines, as well as statutory training like hot works and working at heights.
4. Raise skills and effectiveness levels and contribute to ongoing improvement.
5. Train employees on procedures, systems, and general operational duties.
6. Work closely with the Head of Section/Supervisor to ensure trainees are fully competent post-training.
7. Maintain training records and administer training using the workday computerized LMS system.
8. Audit the training system monthly and follow up on corrective actions when necessary.
9. Evaluate training effectiveness and identify methods to improve training.
10. Support specific projects related to training determined by the Head of HR.
11. Perform operational duties as required, but not when facilitating/coordinating training.
12. Set up and follow up to ensure the training budget is within control, with support from Department Heads.
Requirements:
1. Training Skills Certificate QQI Level 6 or equivalent (or willingness to undertake this accreditation as part of the role).
2. Experience operating equipment and understanding of production demands.
3. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
4. Influencing and computer literacy skills.
5. People coaching skills, including motivating and maintaining standards.
6. Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
7. Demonstrated creativity and innovation, with a desire to continuously improve the function.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm. Some international travel may be involved.
