Job Description
MKO is seeking to recruit an Administrative Coordinator to join its Ecology team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a role with a broad and diverse scope. They will have the ability to manage multiple priorities across a wide variety of tasks, projects and responsibilities. They will be personable but professional, outgoing and confident in their own abilities to fulfil the responsibilities of the role. The Administrative Coordinator will have the ability to work independently on their assigned tasks and responsibilities using their own experience and sound judgment. It would be beneficial to have a background in ecology, environmental, heritage or planning related studies. The role will be based out of our office and hybrid working arrangements will be accommodated. The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:Provide administrative assistance to Project Directors including, but not limited to, project system management, capacity tracking, project budgeting, financial tracking, and invoicing.Manage purchases, payments, travel bookings and arrangements.Support the tendering process by compiling and uploading tender documents and managing tendering resources (e.g. CVs, project examples, Company data) to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency.Coordinate recruitment processes for the division (advertising roles, initial CV screening, and assisting with interview setup).Work with the team to administer and organise team training and development plans.Assist with professional development applications.Oversee the management of technical equipment, including booking, tracking, and maintenance.Facilities and maintenance monitoring (e.g. vehicle tracking).Work with the Project Directors to ensure Health and Safety systems are implemented.Social Media/Newsletter - Support the Division’s online presence, update content on the MKO website and social media, together with co-ordinating divisional input to the monthly company newsletter.Assist with organising divisional/company events, conferences, team-building activities and business development, as required.Flexibility to adapt your responsibilities to meet company requirements Requirements:Excellent computer IT skills across a range of software packagesA minimum of three years of office administration experience (preferably in professional services).
