Vacancy Requirements:
* Degree level qualification in the built environment with proven performance in Sustainability.
* Active Accreditation (LEED AP with Specialty/ BREEAM Assessor / WELL AP / HPI Assessor).
* Basic technical knowledge across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural, ecology) is required.
* Ability to identify, manage and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Public speaking skills (industry conferences, meetings with internal global teams).
* Familiarity with energy and environmental performance: conceptual energy modelling, daylight analysis, energy audits, renewable energy and rainwater harvesting systems, etc.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Energy and Sustainability Engineer to lead our team in managing, designing, developing, and evaluating energy-related projects or programs to reduce or improve energy costs and energy efficiency during construction stages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability engineering and be able to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. This role will involve working on large-scale energy projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating complex information to clients.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage full Energy & Sustainability Engineering for all of our projects delivered internally and externally.
* Responsible for project performance and profitability whilst demonstrating client care.
* Management, appointment, and auditing of subcontractors and their information as appropriate.
* Coordinating dynamic thermal modeling (IESVE) analysis including Part L Assessments, Comfort Analysis (TM52/59), natural ventilation studies, and daylighting.
* Undertaking and overseeing studies relating to BREEAM Credits, including thermal comfort, low and zero-carbon technologies, reduction of emissions, predicted operational energy, and daylighting.
* Leading residential Part L assessments utilising accredited SAP software as part of large-scale energy strategies.
* Preparing Energy & Sustainability Statements for developments to complement planning submissions.
* Preparing high-quality reports that clearly and concisely communicate the issues involved and the conclusions.
* Support bidding for new opportunities, including contributions to marketing material and attendance at interviews for projects at various scales.
* Undertaking domestic and/or non-domestic EPCs for new and existing buildings.
* Lead change in new systems and technologies.
* Mentor and develop less-experienced Engineers.
* Travel to client and project locations as required to represent the client for meetings/surveys/training, etc.
* Ensure that the good name and reputation of the client are maintained and promoted within the industry to enable repeat work.
