Reports to: Strategic Director of Human Resources
SCOPE OF WORK: Manage the Human Resources Function.Work with the management team to ensure effective management and progression of the hotels and its team members.Encourage an organizational culture that supports effective behaviours and ways of working that demonstrate clear commitment to our company values, mission, and vision.Support senior management on the organizational employee brand, culture, learning strategy development, and employee retention strategy.Drive growth strategy plans through acquisitions, smooth integration plans, and maintenance of engagement.Work with the Strategic Director of Human Resources to implement a comprehensive HR Strategy that aligns with our overall growth objectives.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the Human Resource functions/team in line with best practices and improve these procedures where appropriate.Plan recruitment needs with the HR Team and coordinate the process, including interviewing, onboarding, and updating job descriptions.Liaise with schools and colleges to promote the image of the hotel and ensure a supply of employees.Ensure all HR documentation within Trigon Hotels is up to date and agreed with all new employees.Familiarize with all existing and forthcoming employment legislation to ensure compliance.Manage the administration of employee files/systems efficiently.Monitor the Grievance and Disciplinary procedures according to the agreed standard.Coordinate L&D programs with the HR team and ensure effective management of work experience programs.Support training plans at a departmental level and monitor effectiveness.Ensure agreed uniform standards are achieved throughout the hotel.Assist the General Manager in ensuring the success of Team Committee Meetings.Support weekly payroll.Work with the HR Director in the development of the company's DEI&B strategy.Ensure all incidents and accidents are reported and documented appropriately.Promote a positive company culture within the hotel.Oversee and develop the onboarding/offboarding strategy with the HR Director/HR team.Coordinate the employee engagement strategy with the HR Director/HR team.Support the HR Director in designing compensation packages for team members.Manage the company's attendance percentages.Assist with the annual performance review process.Drive innovation within the HR functions and identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes.Apply for this positionFirst Name
