Opportunity to join a well-established international hi-vol manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
1. Machine fault finding, repair, and problem solving.
2. Hydraulics and pneumatic maintenance.
3. Continuous improvement throughout the plant.
4. Welding/fabrication maintenance.
5. Performs repairs of all buildings and equipment.
6. Performs preventive maintenance procedures on buildings and equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects, checks, and replaces e.g. bearings, seals, etc.
7. Inspects boiler; treats water with proper chemicals.
8. Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems.
Experience
Ideally 1 to 15 years plus post-apprenticeship experience.
Mechanical fitter apprenticeship qualifications (MAMF) – Advantage having some machine shop experience.
Computer literacy.
CMM, Computerised Maintenance Systems (SAP) is an advantage.
