Associate Relationship Manager - Depositary
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate Relationship Manager to join our client-facing team.
This role focuses on performing depositary/trustee duties in compliance with corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and fund documentation.
The ideal candidate will work 3 days on site and 2 days working from home for a contract duration of 12 months.
Key Focus Areas
* Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted partner.
* Provide oversight for fund operations, ensuring compliance with investment restrictions and safeguarding investor interests.
* Manage regulatory reporting and data analysis.
* Support new business development and contribute to team initiatives.
Your Typical Day
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, investment managers, and fund structures.
Conduct oversight activities, including checking figures and reviewing compliance with investment restrictions.
Investigate complex fund structures and multi-layer investments, ensuring adherence to parameters.
Collaborate with a team of professionals and participate in weekly new business calls, addressing oversight queries.
Present to boards and participate in due diligence/client meetings.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
* Proven client-facing experience, with the ability to foster strong relationships and confidently present to stakeholders.
Knowledge:
* Familiarity with fund administration, alternative asset classes, and regulatory compliance.
* Experience with UCITS and private wealth structures is advantageous.
Skills:
* Personable, analytical, and capable of handling complex discussions with clients.

Key Responsibilities
Client Management
* Serve as the primary contact for allocated clients.
* Attend and present at board meetings, due diligence sessions, and client visits.
* Develop and maintain robust client relationships.
Regulatory Oversight
* Review fund documentation (prospectus, supplements, valuation policies, etc.).
* Perform periodic investment restriction reviews and resolve breaches.
Reporting & Data Management
* Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly client reports.
* Maintain regulatory registers for breaches and errors, ensuring compliance.
Due Diligence
* Support annual on-site inspections and monitor custodians/prime brokers.
Additional Responsibilities
* Lead team projects on new regulations and process improvements.
* Contribute to the development of departmental procedures.
