HR Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to support our 120+ employees across ROI, UK, and APAC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Employee Relations, HR Compliance, Employee Engagement, Compensation, Benefits, and more. They will also have one direct report in APAC and spend three days onsite in Galway with periodic UK travel.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is energetic, staff-focused, and experienced in acquisitions, rebranding HR to People, and unifying teams.
Responsibilities
Employee Relations
* Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR matters.
* Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions when needed.
Talent Acquisition
* Partner with hiring managers to execute recruitment strategies.
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a diverse and inclusive process.
* Collaborate with Recruitment Partners for efficient and quality hiring.
Performance Management
* Design and implement performance management processes to boost productivity.
* Provide guidance on goal-setting, feedback, and professional growth.
Compliance
* Stay updated on employment laws and ensure policy compliance.
Compensation and Benefits
* Work with the CFO to manage compensation and benefits programs.
* Benchmark regularly to maintain market competitiveness.
HR Strategy
* Support HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
* Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
HR Technology
* Assess HR technology trends and recommend enhancements.
* Oversee the implementation of HRIS systems.
HR Metrics and Reporting
* Develop and monitor HR metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
* Provide SLT with reports on HR trends and turnover metrics as required.
Coaching and Advising Line Managers
* Coach line managers on HR policies and best practices.
* Conduct training on performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
* Support workforce planning and talent development with line managers.
Acquisitions
* Provide HR support for acquisitions, including data migration, analysis, and TUPE compliance.
Work/Life Balance Initiatives
* Implement initiatives promoting work/life balance, including flexible work arrangements and well-being programs.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
* 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Proven ability to lead HR teams in dynamic environments.
* Expertise in aligning HR strategy with organizational goals.
* Experience in policy development for similar-sized organizations.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to influence peers and senior leadership.
