Our Facilities team are looking for the right teammate to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support, troubleshooting, and subject matter expertise for the site.
Where you come in:
1. You will ultimately be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of the site's EMS & BMS systems and supporting those systems on site post installation.
2. Responsible for project engineering on the EMS/BMS systems - HVAC, lighting, security systems.
3. You will assist in the design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment.
4. You will support QA Validation with technical input into the design documents and assist in protocol execution.
5. You will take a leading role in the development of the asset management program/strategy.
6. Site SME for EMS/BMS to deliver.
7. You will interpret P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs.
8. You will supervise 3rd party support for EMS/BMS system.
9. You will maintain a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations.
10. You will conduct troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment issues and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions.
11. You will ensure that out of hours engineering support personnel are up to speed on EMS/BMS systems.
12. You will support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
13. You will provide support to manufacturing and maintenance where required.
14. You will take responsibility for operational monitoring of central support utilities including Water/ HVAC/ Compressed Air / Special Gases/ Refrigeration Systems / BMS/EMS/Chilled Water/Humidifiers/DI Water.
15. You will provide technical expertise during regulatory audits.
What makes you successful:
1. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience or Master’s degree and 0-2 years’ equivalent experience.
2. Experience installing, servicing, or commissioning EMS/BMS systems is required.
3. Familiarization with BMS & EMS systems would be advantageous.
4. You will have proven experience of cGMP clean/grey utilities, & HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and/or controls.
5. You have knowledge and experience of ISO ISO14001, ISO50001, ISO55000.
6. You have exposure to facilities equipment best-practice maintenance including CMMS and RCM. You have experience in Continuous Improvement and lean techniques.
7. You have excellent communication/organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership team.
8. You have applicable knowledge of the CAPA process.
