DescriptionClaims Service Advisor
The primary purpose of this role is to provide a superior claims service to your nominated client portfolio and to protect your clients' best interests at all times while achieving the best possible outcome for all claims.
This will be embodied through achieving the highest standards of customer care, efficiency and compliance and Team Work.
The Role Customer Care Proactively deal with all aspects of client claims from notification through to settlementDeliver excellent client service in an efficient and friendly mannerProvide best in class advice and ensure the client is kept fully informed of all developmentsSupport Account Executives/Brokers by maintaining excellent relationship with the client and keeping them fully informed of important developmentsDemonstrate a clear understanding of the Claims Environment including the Injuries Board and Irish Legal SystemHave a clear understanding of policy covers across all classes of non-life insuranceFoster beneficial relationships with Insurers and Loss AdjustorsImplement agreed claims handling protocolsPreparation of claims data for internal/external end usersAbility to sell the claims serviceRobustly challenge Insurers' strategy/reserves where necessaryEfficiency and Compliance Maintain Company Standards including Compliance and Willis Excellence ModelUnderstand the claims processParticipate in project workTeam Work Co-operate with colleagues in a supportive, friendly and professional mannerProvide assistance in the completion of administration work QualificationsThe Requirements CIP qualifiedExperience of working in a claims role in an Insurance Broker, Insurer or Loss Adjuster/AssessorInsurance Product KnowledgeExcellent communication skillsStrong client advocateHard working, team player who is expected to demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines, prioritise, pay attention to detail and thrive in an environment that is always changingFlexible in their approach to work and demonstrate a keen willingness to learnSelf-starter, efficient and discreteGood negotiation skillsCapable of solving problems and working using their own initiativeMotivated & InnovativeExcellent Time management skillsGood IT skills including a high level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Excel in particular
